Our spelling program will be part of our new "Storytown" reading series by Harcourt Brace.  Each student will have a spelling notebook.  The notebook will go home everyday.  Assignments will be as follow: Monday - Read the words until you know them.  Write each word 3 times.
Tuesday - Read the words.  Make up an oral sentence with each.  Write sentences with 2 of the words.

Thursday - Read the words.  Take a practice test in the notebook.  Practice writing the missed words.
